Protection and Advocacy programs, including the Disability Center of Alaska, accept cases based on priorities established each year with public input. This process ensures that scarce resources are directed at needs identified by the community as most pressing.
DLC’s current priorities for the Fiscal Year 2017 are available for download here:
- FY17 Priorities & Objectives
- FY17 Goals & Priorities Specific to: Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (PADD)
Although annual priorities are set each year in September, we welcome your input throughout the year. You may email DLC at anytime with comments or suggestions.
Help Steer Our Work!
Because your input is important to us, the Disability Law Center of Alaska (DLC) wants to hear from you about the problems on which you feel we should focus. DLC does not have the resources to provide assistance to everyone who requests help. Therefore, we must decide which problems are the most important to Alaskans with disabilities. We would like your help in making that decision. Your input is vital to steering DLC’s future advocacy efforts. Please take a moment to share your thoughts by clicking here to take this online survey.
