Medicaid Waiver Trainings

Learn how an IDD (formerly MRDD) waiver works and how it provides services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

A LOOK AT:

  • Understanding the waiver process
  • What services and supports can be provided
  • How to develop a plan of care
  • Due Process

Whether you currently are on the waitlist for comprehensive services, have already received a waiver, or have just recently been selected for a waiver, this is great information to have.

This training is free and open to parents, educational surrogates, health care workers, Care Coordinators, anyone interested.  Lunch will be provided for registered participants.  The trainings generally run from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
